Las Vegas Gambling Tips: Video Keno – Part Ten (Continued)

On The Town With Vegas Vic
By: Victor H. Royer

Welcome to Las Vegas! My name is Victor H. Royer, but everyone just calls me Vegas Vic. I was named after that famous neon sign in Downtown Las Vegas, that cowboy with the hat on top of the Pioneer Club, always waving his hand and beckoning to his long love, Sassy Sally, on the other side of the street. I will be writing a few articles for AccessVegas.com, so I hope you enjoy them.

Video Keno – Part Ten (Continued)

For Video Keno, the strategy that can be exploited most frequently for financial profits, is pattern-recognition and group-play. Although when we speak mathematically there aren’t any such things in the world of math as “groups” or “patterns”, the simple fact remains that in nature, as well as in Video Keno, patterns do happen, as do groups. Group and pattern theory are actually parts of some studies of mathematics, although such thinking is mostly relegated to the philosophical discipline of theoretical logic. A programmer of Video Keno games may say there aren’t any such events as “patterns” or “groups”, because all the numbers have an equal possibility of being selected during any one drawing of the Video Keno game. That may be true, as understood from the randomness model of these events, but the truth is that these events do happen in patterns and groups. We as human beings have the ability to so recognize such patterns and groups, and although they cannot be mathematically identifiable within the statistical randomness model of the event trigger, the outcome is plain to see.

In Video Keno, numbers bunch. Numbers run is sequences, either across the line, or top-to-bottom. Numbers run in groups, either squares, lines, or rectangles. They run in groups that form a 6-number “T” formation, or a “cross”, such as you may see in church. They run in a five-star formation, or a sideways cross, for 5 and 6 number groups respectively. They run in blocks of 6, and blocks of 8 and blocks of 9, even blocks of 10. Some rows and columns appear to be hit more often than others, and that’s not merely an idle comment. For some 20 years I have seen this in many different versions of Video Keno. Whatever the theory of the randomness of numbers may be, the fact remains that in nature — in the reality of the game as it exists on the casino floor — the indisputable fact remains that wins happen, and can happen more frequently to you as the player if you follow some of the patterns that show up seemingly more often than others, and much more often that a pure random distribution of binary events triggered by a bit-register (for some more details on the way that RNG’s and LFSRs work, please refer to my Slots book, Chapter 10).

These patterns show up more often than any others, or any other arrangements, grouping, or other distribution of numbers. There are no mathematical “facts” that can prove, or disprove, this. There is no way to quantify it. It happens, and using these methods and patterns as part of your overall strategy helps to make powerful profits, to which I can attest through documented wins. Whether they will happen to you, or as frequently, I can’t say — I can say, however, that if you play Video Keno with these patterns and groups, you will have more success than otherwise. Later, as you get better acquainted with the game, perhaps you will find your own groups, ones that work for you as well as these have for me.

For more information on such patterns, and the groups I play, I again refer you to my book: Powerful Profits from Keno. And so, dear friends, this should now be the definitive last word on Keno and Video Keno.

My thanks to John Grochowski, and his reader, who have inspired this series on Video Keno.
