Location.The French Quarter's light-humored spirit springs to life at the Mardi Gras-themed Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. The hotel is located one mile west of the Strip, where outings around the city can originate by bus, shuttles and the Las Vegas Monorail; fees apply. McCarran International Airport is five miles away.
Hotel Features. Dining at Sazio, the Italian-American restaurant, includes the Ba-Da-Bing gangster dinner show. New Orleans-style jambalaya pasta and aged prime rib are served at the Prime Rib Loft. Other dining options include Koji's, Don Miguel's, Big Al's Oyster Bar and Brendan's Irish Pub. Conference rooms, a business center and high-speed Internet access are offered for a fee.
The Spa Orleans feature massages, body wraps, and an adjoining fitness center that includes saunas, steam rooms and six-person spa tubs. This hotel boasts a 142,000-square-foot casino with slots, video poker, blackjack, craps, roulette, keno and a 170-seat race and sports book. Headline acts perform at the 827-seat Orleans Showroom and live entertainment occurs nightly in the Bourbon Street Cabaret.
