The Golden Gate Hotel and Casino is a tourist-class hotel and casino, located eight miles from Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport. An outstanding value, this landmark hotel is situated at the end of the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas. Built in 1906, The Golden Gate has the distinction of being the oldest hotel - and the smallest, on Fremont Street. It has also been called the best hotel in downtown Las Vegas. The Golden Gate offers visitors a look at the Las Vegas of yesteryear, and is probably the only hotel in Las Vegas that has a grand piano in the middle of its casino.
